About Our Founder
Taylor Ash is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter. Taylor began writing and composing at the age of 11, which led her to pursue music as a career. Taylor graduated with highest honors from the esteemed Westminster College with degrees in Music Theory, Composition and Performance. During her years at school, she worked alongside The Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, The Vienna Philharmonic, and current conductor of the Metropolitan Opera Yannick Nézet-Séguin. In 2022, Taylor placed in the Spitfire Scoring Competition and received critical acclaim from Kris Bowers, composer of Netflix’s Bridgerton. In 2023, Taylor returned to the classical and film score world when she started writing for books, podcasts and authors. Her theme music for works such as A Court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass, Divine Rivals and other fantasy series have garnered millions of streams on Spotify. She has also scored several feature length and short films. Taylor recently started composing for popular TTRPG’s, including the award-winning Alice is Missing- composing a new game clock score set to release in 2025.
Based just outside of Philadelphia, From Ash Studios came about to help you take your project to the next level. The studio has live instrument capabilities (from Violin, Vocals, Grand Piano, guitars and others), as well some of the best virtual instrument sounds on the market today, able to provide an epic orchestral sound at a fraction of the cost.
